st race was in April 2000, on a 1989 Yamaha TZR250, approx 10 meetings, 6 th  in championship, had several podium finishes. 2 nd   & 3 rd places - no wins, but I was hooked!

1993 Yamaha TZ250 GP bike. I needed machinery with more potential than road    going TZR250 (already felt the bike and me, as a team, had reached our limits) – I decided to go GP250, (everyone was saying it was too soon!). Huh! I was 5th in championship and had several podiums 2 nd   & 3 rd   places - again no wins, but that was with only around half championship completed due to mechanical problems!

1999 Yamaha R1 for the 1st half season, 2002 Yamaha R1 for the 2nd half of the season. I needed reliability - part exchanged the TZ for R1.

BEMSEE Powerbike champion, Clubman 1300 Champion and Lord of Lydden titles. 28 Wins, 52 podiums, many fastest laps & race speed records on a bike standard except for the exhaust, shock absorber/fork damping and tyres.

MRO qualified 2nd (behind Francis Williamson) at Snetterton first meeting, crashed out at Corams, damaged the bike and went downhill from there.   Completed in UK Pro bike open BSB support race June 2003 at Brands GP, won both races.   Family, finances and situations on & off track decided to stop racing.

no racing or riding

no racing or riding

Meeting at Pembrey GP250 class with New Era Superclub on a 1994 TZ250 -finished 4th

Meeting at Brands Hatch on an R1 with New Era –finished 2nd

finds me competing in the British GP 250 on a 2000 TZ250 (purchased on Ebay!).  No practice sessions are allowed prior to these race events, so I had very little time on the bike prior to the 1st meeting at Brands, with 3 tracks new to me, in the championship I knew it was going to be, well…..interesting to say the least.

I got a 3rd place at Brands, 12th at Croft (new track, qualified 8th, wet race), 6th at Oulton Park, 4th & 5th Castle Combe (new track), 3rd Anglesey (new track) – I’m currently 4th in championship.

Plans are either to run in British 250 championship or possibly a switch back to Powerbikes with intention to RUN BSB Privateer rounds later in season or 2009 onwards.
